Quick Reference: Factory OEM tyre sizes for the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 are 100/90-18 56H (Front, 2.50×18 rim) and 130/70-18 63H (Rear, 3.50×18 rim). Factory cold tyre pressures are 32 PSI Front / 36 PSI Rear (solo) and 32 PSI Front / 39 PSI Rear (with pillion).

Geometric calculations alone **do not establish fitment**. Upsizing (e.g. going from 130/70 to 140/70 or 150/70) on the Continental GT650 stock 3.50×18" rear rim can “pinch” the tyre crown, compromising the contact patch and cornering profile. You must physically inspect swingarm clearance, chain guard proximity, and ensure wheel speed tone ring sensor alignment for dual-channel ABS.
Many Continental GT 650 owners contemplate changing to wider rear tyres (such as 140/70-18 or 150/70-17). While mathematical geometry calculates diameter, rolling circumference, and theoretical speedometer error, geometry alone does not prove a tyre will safely fit your motorcycle.
